April 18, 2009 We had a wonderful time with Betty and Wayne and would
have like to have stayed longer. We were on honeymoon and they did everything
to make a fuss of us including decorating our room and giving us a huge
cake. We particularly liked the homely atmosphere and sharing meals with
our hosts. The communial lounge with its log burning stove and cosiness was
very much appreciated after a long days fishing. We wholeheartedly
recommend a visit to this unique a guest house and one day hope to return
ourselves. Jeannette and John from Isle of Man, UK
April 18, 2009 We stayed at Riverbend with Betty & Wayne in Sept
2006. What was so nice was that after a long days fishing there was always a
faboulous meal and wonderful hospitality from both the above. We haven't yet
returned but when we do it will be with Betty & Wayne where we will stay no
question. Allan & Cheryl, Hexham, England
April 12, 2009 I have stayed at the River Bend a couple of times over
the past few years and have nothing but high praise for the warmth and
hospitality shown to their guests by both Betty and Wayne, this is truly a home
from home experience with fantastic fishing on the doorstep. After a full days
fishing there is nothing better than to get back to River Bend to be welcomed
by an excited "Bear" (the dog) and to enjoy a full and hearty meal with both
Betty and Wayne, I will certainly be returning. Phil from
Wales

Jan 23, 2007 My niece, nephew and I stayed at Riberbend for five
nights in December 2006 arriving at 11.00 at night after an extended ride on
the freeway from Vancouver Airport due to a substantial snowfall and freezing
temperatures. Betty and Wayne welcomed us with hot drinks and biscuits and a
blazing wood stove in the sitting room in their B&B.
